Curriculum and Instruction

Improving school quality is an important concern of the Indian society.  School quality depends on the quality of teachers which is turn depends upon their professional preparation.  Pre-service teacher education therefore, occupies a critical role in turning out quality teachers.  This book ‘Curriculum and Instruction’ deals with instructional strategies which need to be acquired by prospective teachers to become effective performers in their classroom settings.  Instructional strategies included in this book do not exhaust the list of the plethora of pedagogies which can be used in the classroom.  This book contains only a limited number of teaching methods and strategies.
