The present study is viewed in the perspective of winder process of social change in the life of Gond Tribe of Jharkhand. The Gond’s have their own, social, economic and cultural status, in which variation and changes have taken place due to time and place. The traditional, social, economic and cultural structure of this tribe change in Jharkhand. The question arises why changes take place and what changes they have brought in themselves. In this view there will be effort to study the social, economic, cultural and political life of the Gonds who have settled in Jharkhand. This study is based on the structural view of Dhawaipani Village of Gumla Dist. This village is Gond populated where many changes have taken place in the structural life of this tribe. Gond Tribes are one of the 30 Schedule Tribe in Jharkhand and Bihar. The mother land of the Gond Tribe in Madhya Pradesh but gradually they have migrated to the border area of Jharkhand and settled in the village Tingina and then after from this village this tribes is spread all over Gunmda and other dist. of Jharkhand. The village Dhawaipani where their settlement have been shown is found in a changeable structure of lifestyle.
