Digitised Methods of Library Services

The modern library is considered to be the ‘Heart’ of the academic activities in an academic organisation, the effectiveness of a library depends upon the quality, degree of the services and suitable staff members and also to what extent it satisfied the users. With the advent of the electronic information era, the old concept of a library being only a stone house of books has now changed. In a digital world there are numerous new or expanded roles for departments. Access to high quality and peer-reviewed instructional resources via digital libraries will help to create and support exciting and engaging learning environments across the curriculum. New communication network between students, instructors and contents specialists provide new opportunities for departments to share their work with the larger community and to break down barriers between institution and work.
