Distance Education: Student Support Services

Education is one of the tools for making people as good citizens. Distance education is an alternative system for formal education. Nonformal and distance education fulfils the democratic aspirations of people and a right step in spreading for achieving the goals of ‘Education for all’. U.K. Open University at the International level, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) at the National level and Ten State Open Universities have contributed immensely for the development of distance education.
