Human Rights is a wide field on which many books, articles, reviews, court cases, have been written and discussed. In consonance with these guidelines and directions and enactments all the countries in the world have added special constitutional provisions and prepared the framework for human rights and laws related to human rights. Violence is yet another epidemic which has spread all over the world and entered the mainstream of humanity and is still spreading like wild fire.

The violence may be in various forms and of various types like physical, emotional, psychological, verbal, sexual, economic, mental and domestic. Domestic violence against women all over the world is very high whereas the female population is almost half of the world population. Human Rights Violations violates all the basic human rights of men and women. In this direction India has specially enacted several laws to protect women from domestic violence and sexual harassment in office environment and elsewhere. Violence and Crimes against women starts from very its birth till death. Life Cycle of women is completely affected with violence. Practices like female infanticide, female foeticides, pre-natal sex selection, forced prostitution etc.
