The present work, ‘Dynamics of Electoral Politics in Haryana’ is the first-ever comprehensive research work on political process in the state since the British rule. Socio-economic contours of the state impinging on the electoral process have also been taken into consideration. It focusses mainly on analytical description of General Elections of 1967, mid term polls of 1968 and Assembly Elections of 1972. The study also covers various political developments of the state from the year 1921 to 1977.
