Mulki Radhakrishna Shetty was born in India. He was educated in Bangalore and qualified as a physician from Madras University. He later studied in England, Canada and the United States, where he practiced Medical Oncology. In 2005 he authored two books "The Itinerant Indian" and "Encyclopaedia of Quotable Couplets" which found a place in the Limca Book of Records 2007. This was followed by two volumes of 'English Couplets' in 2007 (Limca book of records 2008). This book is the fourth volume of 'English Couplets' and took nearly seventeen months to write.
