The book Economic Aspects of the Quran is a reader friendly work of the economic teachings of the Quran. This book is an attempt to make the general readers aware about the economic aspects of the Quran. This endeavor will help them in understanding all economic concepts stated in the Quran, like, Zakah, Sadaqah, alms and other payments, distribution of inheritance, acquisition and use of unlawful wealth or property, maintenance allowance, evils of wine and gambling, norms of weighing and measuring, business transactions, interest or unsury, speculative transactions, monopolistic trade agreements, ushr and kharaj etc.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohd. Naved Khan
The author, Dr. Mohd Naved Khan, is a growing scholar of Economics and Finance, especially Islamic Finance. He has been working as Assistant Professor He has been Engineering Vollege (Wakf), Nath, Haryana. Prior to this he has taught at the Rightways Institute of Management and Information Technology, Aligarh.
He has earned his Ph.D from MJP Rohikhand University, Bareilly, MBA with Diploma in Personnel Managememt from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The Centre is situated at Aligarh, UP. He has also been shouldering the responsibility of students Welfare Pfficer and Chirman, Schololarship Committe at the Mewat Engineeing College (Wakf).
He has published papers and article on Islamic Banking and Finance.
