ABOUT THE AUTHOR B M Jauhari
Dr. B.M. Jauhari (b. 1942), holds a master’s degree in Economics as well as Doctorate from the University of Agra. His academic interests lies in various aspects of Growth and Development especially in relation to Indian Economy. A widely traveled man, both in India and abroad, he has experienced the problems himself. He has attended several national and international seminars and conferences and his views have been sought by both the official and non-official agencies. His publications include two edited books on Nehru and Planning in India (Concept), Economic Liberalisation and Globalisation (Common Wealth), in addition to over one hundred and fifty research papers. He is the Founder Secretary General of Indian Centre for Socialist Studies – a research institute. Currently he is serving as Reader and Head, Department of Post-Graduate Studies and Research in Economics, (C.C.S. University Meerut) and is also a visiting Faculty in Institutes imparting MBA education in Ghaziabad.
