The present book ‘Education in the Modern Indian Context’ is a collection of some burning topics in the field of Education. Pedagogic issues are especially dealt with keeping the importance of teaching-learning activities view. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Intakhab A. Khan
Dr. Intakhab A. Khan obtained B.A. (Honours) and M.A. in English Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, U.P. (India). Later, in joined Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi) and passed B.Ed., M.Ed., examinations in First division. he was awarded M.Phil and Ph.D. (Edu.) degrees from the some University. Dr. Khan joined faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, as a Lecturer in 1989 and served until 1995. Dr. Khan went to Saudi Arabia to work in the College of Health Sciences, Jazan. He rendered the duties of the Head of the Dept. of English Co-ordinator apart from various other academic and administrative responsibilities. Dr. Khan has been associated with various socio-eduational activities and organisations. He is the founder Associate Editor of 'Global Peace' Dr. Khan has scores of papers/articles to his credit besides some books published by different publishers of Delhi.
