Empowerment and Social Work Participation

Savita Bhatt, a distinguished teacher, is having two decades of professional standing. She is currently working as a reader in the research department of social work. She did his graduate and doctorate degrees in social work. Her areas of research interest include women empowerment, community organisation, social welfare, self-help groups, youth and child welfare and social work ethics. She served many educational institutions in India and abroad. Dr. Savita is an active member in many voluntary groups working for children and women. She has participated in various national and international workshops and seminars on various social issues. She has authored many outstanding books and has profusely contributed learned articles to the professional journals of repute. She has extensively travelled in India and abroad for social work and research purposes.
