ABOUT THE AUTHOR P.K. Jalan

P.K. Jalan (1957b) has done his graduation and postgraduation from Calcutta, in Ist division and was involved in academic career for more than 15 years in different institutions of India. He went to Singapore for specialization in International Economics and wrote number of research papers on the subject. After coming back to India he joined a Multi National Company at Bangalore as an economic consultant. He is still contributing for academic exercise by writing articles in Indian newspapers on economic development of the country. He has to his credit two books on ‘International economics’ and ‘Economic Planning’.
