Praveen Patnaik, a famous vocalist, composer, Teacher and writer, is well known for his contributions to Indian music. He has performed extensively on stage, TV, disk, and radio in India, Europe and the United States. He accompanied many great musicians from India and also from the West. He is well versed in the academic side of music. He hold masters degree in music and has been working as a music teacher since 1970. He is famous for his innovative experiments of tuning Indian music in western composition. He is the author of numerous books and articles on music.
