Encyclopaedia of Plant Systematics is the study of plant life and goes even beyond it to capture key life activities of fertilization and physiological evolution in plants of different groups and classes. To start with Encyclopaedia’s first volume focuses on Integrated Plant Systems & Basic Plant Systematics which is about Evolutionary Systematics, Phylogenic Ancestry and Taxonomic Systematics of Plants; Structural, Vascular and Metabolic Systematics and Development of Morphology. The evolutionary relationships are much pronounced in the middle two volumes of the encyclopaedia viz. Structural, Evolutionary and Behavioural Systematics of Plants, which is further divided into five sections.
The fourth and fifth volumes deal with the key plant activities which are of nutrition and reproduction (with special focus on alternative nutrition like carnivorous behaviour) activities and are named – Physiological Systematics: Alternative Nutrition System in Plants and Plant Reproductive Systematics and Effects of Cross-fertilisation. To top it all the final volume of the encyclopaedia has vast reference of research abstracts in Plant Systematics with a total of 596 of them, form all the top researchers around the world.
This makes the Encyclopaedia of Plant Systematics an indispensable reference work for all libraries in academic institutions, which student, teachers, and researchers would be delighted to consult.
