ABOUT THE AUTHOR R N Gautam
R.N. Gautam passed Diploma in Mechanical Engg. from Board of Technical Education, U.P. in first division in 1966 and joined Technical College, Dayalbagh, Agra. He passed Diploma in Technical Teaching from T.T.T.I. Chandigarh in 1978 with first position in the batch and joined as lecturer in Mechanical Engg. His mastery over the drawing subject is well known to all his friends and students. He taught with zeel Engineering Drawing and Machine Drawing throughout his career span of more than 40 years, apart from other mechanical engineering subjects. He is consultant to local industries for drawing and design problems.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR V. Prem Prasad
V. Prem Prasad graduated in Mech. Engg. from Agra University in 1971. He did P.G. Diploma in Salesmanship and Market Research from Baroda in 1972. In Jan. 1973, he joined The Premier Automobiles Ltd. as Trainee Engineer (R & D). In Nov. 1973, he joined The Utkal Machinery Ltd. (A subsidiary of L & T) as Junior Engineer (S & P). After working there for three and half years, joined as Lecturer, Mechanical Engg. in Technical College, Dayalbagh, Agra in April 1977. He obtained M.Tech. (Engg. Systems) in 1993 from D.E.I. (Deemed University) with Honours. In 1997 became Senior Lecturer and Head, Mech. Engg. in the same college. During his teaching career he taught various subjects including Engineering Drawing and Machine Drawing.
