Engineering for Agricultural Drainage

This book lays special stress on soil and soil moisture characteristics and behaviour crop plant characteristics and growth and on the successful and continuous practice of irrigation as related to drainage. It presents the developments in scientific drainage design with special chapters on soil character and beaviour drainage of irrigated lands, moisture control on agricultural peat lands and on quality of drain tile and methods required in manufacture to secure permanence and protection from natural enemies. It is the intended mission of this book to meet that demand for students farmers and for all agricultural technicians whether engineers agriculturists or farm managers.
