ABOUT THE AUTHOR J.P. Sharma
J.P. Sharma J is Working as a Senior Scientists and Scientists-Inchagrge, ATIC at IARI, New Delhi. He has a vast experience of over 19 years conducting research, guiding teaching post graduate students, conducting training programmes and carrying out agricultural extension work in the field. He earned his doctorate degree from IIT, Delhi and post graduation from GBPUAT, Pantnagar; being awarded fellowships from IIT and UNDP respectively. He is an accredited entrepreneurial motivational trainer. He has to his credit researches on highly relevant topics assessment refinement of agricultural technologies, peri urban agriculture and entrepreneurship development conducted as part of funded projects from reputed national/international agencies. Many models. Strategies and extension approaches as a result of these studies have now been incorporated in the present extension system. He has published more than two hundred papers in reputed journals, edited several books, bulletins and journals. Dr. Sharma is member of various professional; committees and has been invited as consultant by various organizations. He is a renowned communicator and trainer who can motivate people effectively. At present he has contributed a lot as Secretary, IFWA and Founder President, Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development (Mobilization).
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rupasi Tiwari
Rupasi Tiwari, M.Sc., Ph.D., (Exten Educ) is currently Sr. Scientist and Officer In-Charge, ATIC at IVRI, Izatnagar. She has vast experience in research, guidance and teaching post graduate students in extension. Her area of research mainly comprises study of livestock production system of small holders, commercial dairy owners, identification of HRD opportunities, and motivation among the stakeholders in animal husbandry sector. She is recipient of Young Scientist Award and Recognition Award and is fellow of Mobilization Society. She has published more than 30 research papers in national and international journals. She has written two teaching manuals, two books and 10 bulletins and has edited a large number of books and compendia. Dr. Tiwari is also the executive councilor of ISEE and life member of many professional societies.
