ABOUT THE AUTHOR Arnab Ghosh

Dr. Arnab Ghosh born in 1976, completed his M.Sc. degree in Biological Anthropology from the university of Calcutta in 1998 and subsequently awarded Ph.D. degree in Biological Anthropology from the same university in the year 2003 for his commendable work on the modeling of conventional coronary heart disease (CHD) risk factors in Asian Indian population. He joined the Visva Bharati university, Santinikaetan in August’ 2004 as lecturer in Biological Anthropology when he was working as a Postdoctoral fellow in Biotechnology at the Bose Institute, Kolkata. Dr. Ghosh has published more than 40 research papers in journals of international repute. He is also attached as Referee with five international and one national journal. Dr. Ghosh has delivered a number of visiting lectures at the different universities and institutes. He along with his Ph.D. scholars is currently working in the field of obesity, clinical nutrition and genetic profiling of chronic diseases e.g. CHD, Diabetes etc.
