Air Pollution is the introduction of chemicals, particulate matter, or biological materials that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or damages the natural environment, into the atmosphere. Pollutions in the air which cause its contamination include natural emissions like ash from a volcanic eruption, but they mostly include the result of human activities such as the carbon monoxide gas from a motor vehicles exhaust or sulphur dioxide released from factories.
The present book not only enumerates these causes, their effects and control mechanisms, but calls for a much more devoted and active effort to bring them to fruition.
