Ethnic Squeezing in Northeast India: A Religio-Political Analysis

In this book, Laiu Fachhai analyzes the issue of ethnic squeezing facing Northeast India today. According to him, ethnic squeezing is a system whereby the original and indigenous ethnic groups or sons and daughters of the land are outnumbered, squeezed out to a corner in their own land, and made powerless minorities in their own state or nation by alien non – indigenous immigrants.
