Evaluation in Physical Education

Evaluation gives value to that score, assessing its meaning and importance within the total structure of our objectives. It demands philosophy, well thought out objectives, and understanding of the values of limitations of tools of measurement. Physical Education has the potential to meet many students needs in the areas of sciences and social sciences. It is difficult to secure objective evidence of growth in some of these areas. Therefore, it is essential to understand and possess skills in both objective and subjective evaluation. The purpose of this book is to provide adequate text on this subject to be defensible and which will provide evidence of its effectiveness.
