ABOUT THE AUTHOR R K Veera Selvam
R. K. Veera Selvam, a well-known teacher and researcher of veterinary science was born and brought up in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. In 1983, he completed a bachelor degree in agriculture and on the same year joined the department of agricultural research and specialist services. During the following 10 years his research focused on evaluating biological responses of livestock under various production systems and has co-coordinated this area of research both at national, regional and international levels. In 1990, he gained a Ph. D. Degree in agricultural economics.He is a recipient of many awards and scholarships all through his college years. He is the member of many national and international scientific societies. He also has chaired a number of sessions of different articles/symposia. Many of his research articles published in reputed national and international journals. He has authored/edited many books and is also working with esteemed agricultural science journals.
