ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jatinder Pal

Dr. Jatinder Pal is Lecturer in the Post-Graduate Department of Economics, Kanya Maha Vidhaya, Jalandhar. Earlier he has served as a faculty member of Punjab School of economics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He also worked as a research fellow for a period of five years in the same department. He completed his M.Sc. [H.S.] in Economics in 2000 from Punjab school of Economics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He was awarded the Junior research Fellowship by University Grants Commission in 2000 for pursuing Ph.D. He completed his Ph.D in Monetary economics in 2006 from Punjab School of Economics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has to his credit the publications in the journals of national and international repute.
