Flora of Madhya Pradesh (Chhatapur and Damoh)

This book deals with 881 species of 529 genera and 128 families of flowering plants of Chhatarpur and Damoh districts. Though it cover only two districts but it may be considered flora of Northern Madhya Pradesh, because the vegetation type of other northern districts in Madhya Pradesh are very similar to the area covered. Besides the taxonomic studies geology, climate, people, major vegetation types and forest types have been described. Medicinal uses and economic aspects of plants are given in detail. Biological spectrum of the area have been presented particularly for the research scholars.
