Food Security and Gender Inequality

Food is essential for human being. The distribution of food is the most difficult tasks. It is well known that extreme under nutrition and poverty still persist in the country. Agricultural system, in its agrarian cultural policies today are not much different from what they were in the wake of ‘green revolution’. Unless the later two aspects are given a serious rethinking, poverty and under-nutrition are bound to continue. It is in this respect that this book has its specific value. For that purpose alone many governments give much emphasis to follow proper food distribution system. Food insecurity is the serious concern in the minds of politicians as well as statesmen.
