The book is critical examination of life and philosophy of Foucault who is mostly remembered for his theory of power and his analysis of disciplinary society. It covers genealogical histories (the human sciences, madness, the penal system, bio-politics and sexuality) and methodical reflections (on structuralism, archaeology heterotopio). Foucault identifies three axis as being constitutive of subject: knowledge, power and ethics and places a special emphasis on the institutional expression of knowledge production.
