The book proposedly represents Sigmund Freudas the seminal figure with whom psychological theory evolves either by the way of approval or by the way of reaction. Male dominantion has been sublimited if not rejected by female theories and the book interestingly seeks to demonstrate that what the feminist rejected is still implicit in their structural format.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Poonam Srivastava
Poonam Srivastava (B.1977) took her Bachelor and Master Degree from B.H.U. & M.G.K.V. in year 1996 & 1998 respectively. She has presented scholarly papers in the field of Indian English Fiction with western model of feminist theory in the national seminars held at various places. Dr. Poonam is teaching in Agrasen P.G. College, Varanasi and at the moment, she is engaged in a research project involving Indian conception of the female in the scriptural texts of the native tradition.
