“Genetic Demography†(A Study of Raj Gond Tribe). The present book is a product of intensive fieldwork conducted among the Raj Gond of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The objective of the study is to focus sensitively Genetic Demography profile. The authors highlight the Genetic and Demography profile of Raj Gonds and their interaction. The book contains six chapters, in which different aspects of the study have been covered. In view of its multi-disciplinary nature, the book, which is first of it kind, would be of immese help and use to general readers, academicians, Socio-Cultural anthropologists, planners and researchers.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ankur Yadav
Dr. Ankur Yadav did his M.Sc. in Anthropology with first division in 2000 and Ph.D. in 2004 form department of anthropology, Dr. H.S. Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. His research interests are in the field of medical anthropology, applied anthropology, demography and physical anthropology. He had published several scholarly papers in journals of national / international repute. He is the author of two books “The Sedentrized Lohar Gadiyas of Malthon†and “Reproductive and Child Healthâ€. He is presently working in the National Commission of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, New Delhi.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR K.K.N. Sharma
Dr. K.K.N. Sharma (M.Sc, M.A., Ph.D., UGC Research Awardee) is a well-known Anthropologist. He has been involved in research since 1984. His areas of research are demography, medical anthropology and applied anthropology. He has published several scholarly papers in journals of national / international repute. A number of research projects have been accomplished by him. He is the author of three books. The National Seminars on “Tribal Health in India†and “Reproductive and Child Health Problems in Rural Areas of Indiaâ€, were organized by him. He is presently a faculty member of department of anthropology, Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar.
