ABOUT THE AUTHOR Somesh Kumar Mathur

Dr. Somesh Kumar Mathur has nearly eleven years of teaching and research experience at the Department of Economics, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), Delhi. While teaching at the Jamia, he completed his M Phil and PhD degrees in economics from the Centre for International Trade and Development, JNU. He has joined RIS as Fellow in April, 2006 on deputation from the Department of Economics, JMI, for a term of two years. His areas of interest are in new trade and growth theories, TRIPS and other WTO issues. He has participated in various national and international conferences and has published articles etc., in refereed national and international journals. Dr. Mathur has taught papers like Pure Theory of International Trade, Quantitative Methods, International Finance and Banking, Microeconomics and Corporate Finance to the postgraduate students of the University.
