ABOUT THE AUTHOR Harbans Kaur Sagoo
Dr. Harbans Kaur Sagoo, who is currently Reader in the Department of History at the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa Post-Graduate (Evening) College, University of Delhi, passed her B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. in History from the University of Delhi. After obtaining her M.Phil. from the History Department (D.U.) she received her Ph.D. Degree from the Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1989. A keen student of Medieval Indian History, Sikh Religion and Culture Dr. Sagoo during her school and college, years had been getting the Shromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee's scholarship for her having qualified the prescribed papers on Gurbani, Sikh History and Sikh traditions. Presently she is engaged in writing about the traditional sources of Sikh History and is mentioned in 'Refacemento International' and 'Reference India'. Apart from contributing a number of research papers in seminars, Dr. Sagoo has two more books to her credit, they are : 1. Guru Nanak and the Indian Society (English) 2. APE PATTI KALAM APE (Punjabi)
