ABOUT THE AUTHOR Biswadeep Ghosh
Born in 1968 in Patna, Bihar, Biswadeep Ghosh holds degrees in English literature and Indian music, both of which are statistical realities today. He started out as a freelance journalist in 1987 with a column in The Hindustan Times (Patna) after which he shifted base to New Delhi and wrote on file arts and literature in publications like The Economic Times, The Indian Express, The Times of India, The Sunday Observer, Business and Political Observer, Financial Express, Sunday Mail and The Pioneer. The author’s first full-time job was with Gentleman, followed by stints with Outlook and The Hindustan Times. In Mumbai, he functioned as the editor of TV World and the Executive Editor of Zee Premiere magazines briefly while contributing to other media products like tehelka.com. Presently, he is Senior writer with Magna Publishing. After Trivia, his collection of poems published in 1999, this is his first attempt at non-fiction.
