ABOUT THE AUTHOR Swami Dharmananda Jain
A true Yogi, started learning yoga when he was just a school going child. He received his teaching and guidance from great saints like Acharya Shri Tulsi, Swami Yogeshwarananda, Swami Narayan giri. He was the director of Tulsi Adhyatma Nidam which was the chief meditation centre of Laadnu. He was the director there from 1975 to 1985. since 1986, he is the director of Adhyatma Sadhana Centre. From 1975 onwards he has been organizing several meditation camps all over India and has also been teaching many people about meditation. In 1985-86 he set out on a world tour. He toured Bangkok, Hong-Kong, Japan, America, Canada, England, and France and spread the knowledge of meditation in these countries. He was also associated with doctors of the All India Institute of Medical Science in their research works on prevention of heart ailments, asthma, diabetes, etc. In his meditation centre, he also taught the soldiers and other people who went to Antarctica in 1993 and to those who went to Leh in 1995 for the DIPAS mission to understand the effects of Yoga at higher altitudes. He was also invited by the Swedish Herbal Institute, Swedon. In 1996 he went to England and Italy on his mission. He was very impressed by the science of Colour Therapy. From 1975 he started studying Colour therapy and taught many people about this theory. As a chemotherapist he has given many lectures in various forums. He has authored many books and written various articles on Colour therapy. He is the sole Indian member of the International Colour Therapy Association of England.
