Population geography is the latest, thrust area of researches globally, due to ever increasing human pollution, which is causing great dangers to ecology and environment. In particular population explosion in India has tremendous impact on human development index, damaging the ecological balance and natural resources. Since the study is based on exploring the primary determinants of human fertility differentials due to socio-economic causes, such as urban, rural, economic and religious reasons. The study is not only based on extensive two years field survey, it also makes comparative analysis of national surveys of repute such as NFHS-1, NFHS-II and SRS.
