ABOUT THE AUTHOR Santrupt Misra

Dr. Santrupt Misra has had all through a brilliant academic record. He passed M.A. in Political Science from utkal University in first class, winning the University Gold Medal. In 1984, he joined the Tata Institute of Social Scineces (TISS), Bombay for a second Post Graduation in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and topped his batch in 1986. After a brief stint as the Industrial Relations Officer with Straw Products Ltd. , he joined TISS as a Lecturer in the Department of Personnel Management and Industrial Relation where currently he holds the position of a Reader. He was awarded Ph..D. degree from the Utkal University in 1990. He was elected as Vice President of World University Service (WUS) India in 1989. Dr. Misra is now on a Commonwealth scholarship doing research on Employee Participation at the Aston Business School in U.K.
