Illustrated Fungi of North India with Special Reference to Jammu and Kashmir State

All the fungi reported so far from J & K (including Pakistan Occupied Area) in various journals have been included in this monograph along with several fungi reported by the author during the period between 1959-90. This monograph also contains the unpublished work of the author which has been indicated by asterisks and the collection deposited in the mycological herbarium of RRL, Jammu. Much of the author’s collection has also been deposited in the Commonwealth Mycological Institute, Kew and their numbers under IMI have been quoted. The illustrations of all the species figured have been executed in the author’s own hand, with the numbers of the same having been indicated in bold numerals in the text. In compiling the list of fungi, the genera and the species have been arranged alphabetically. The serial no. of the reference/references followed by page no. have been provided against each species listed besides illustration no. if any in bold. Host index and bibliography have also been appended.
