The volume explores the issues of convergence between India and Vietnam and the scope for their future cooperation. It discusses the current positive outlook in Indo-Vietnam ties owing to high economic growth, scientific and technological capacity building, enhanced cultural contacts and an identical perspective on global and regional issues. It deals with the signing of the Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two in 2007 and the celebration of 2012 as the ‘Year of Friendship’.
