This book aims at analysing critically the use of myths in Indian English Drama. It makes a serious and meticulous attempt to study exhaustively how myths have added to the meaning and significance of Indian English Drama and how drama dealing with myths and legends has been instrumental in propagating India’s cultural heritage, philosophical systems, religious thinking, political understanding, and social values.
