In this book an attempt has been made to study the socio-economic transformation of the Hyderbadi workers repatriated from Kuwait. It is an attempt to understand major intention of the repatriates rehabilitation problems. The study covers the retrospective and prospective socio-economic conditions of the households of the workers on social constraints with regards to their lengths of stay, educational background, age, sex, marital status and religion. An analysis has been done on the economic aspect of problems and constraints of the repatriates like: the employment structure, the income and expenditure pattern, the assets and remittances. The book also highlights the occupational change, the residential mobility within the city and its impact on their rehabilitation problems and prospects of future living conditions.
