ABOUT THE AUTHOR O.P. Bhatnagar
O.P. Bhatnagar taught English and wrote poetry and criticism. Published seven volumes of poetry-Thought Poems, Feeling Fossils, Angles of Retreat, Oneric Visions, Shadows in Floodlights, The Audible Landscape, Cooling Flames of Darkness. His poems have been translated into several European and Indian languages and have been broadcast on the air in U.S.A. Had also published two volumes of criticism-Perspectives on Indian Poetry in English and Studies in Indian Drama in English. Had also edited three volumes of poetry-International Poetry, New Dimensions in Indo English Poetry and Rising Columns and three volumes of criticism-Studies in Criticism: Indian Fiction in English, Essay in Criticism: Indian Fiction in English and Indian Poetry in English: Old and New. He was invited to attend World Congress of Poets at Seoul, South Korea and California, U.S.A., where he visited several far east and far west regions. He was also invited to deliver the Keynote address at the First Asian Poets Conference in Tokyo, Japan. Besides, had contributed articles to several literary journals and books like October Revolution: Impact on Indian Literature. Had been on the editorial boards of many of them.
