ABOUT THE AUTHOR Nandita Saikia

Nandita Saikia, began her school education in Cheshire, England and completed it in India.  She has a degree in socio-legal sciences and has also studied European Union Law.  Nandita has experience as a journalist, editor, teacher, website co-ordinator, and as the Content Manager of the Indian National Campaign for the Youth Caucus of the UN's WSIS.  She is particularly interested in human rights and choice inhibition.  In addition to this, Nandita is a trained Western Classical pianist and has contributed to a number of anthologies and other publications on a variety of subjects ranging from violence to education.
