ABOUT THE AUTHOR Uma Shankar Jha

Dr. Uma Shankar Jha is a leading Indian Africanist wo introduced African Studies in India through the National Language which he was conferred the Best Editor of which he was conferred the Best Editor Award by the Hindi Academy, Delhi for the year 1993-94. Working as a pool officer under the Scientists Pool Scheme at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. Dr. Jha competed his post-doctoral Research Work on “Apartheid in south Africa and Non-Aligned Movement” from the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi. Dr. Jha is Editor-in-Chief of University Newspaper (in Hindi), Africa (India’s First Research Journal in National Language) and World Vision (Research Journal of International Relations).
