India’s First Open University: Two Decades Journey

This is the first comprehensive book on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), India’s first Open University, which paved the way for the founding of nine other autonomous, technology based and State funded Open Universities in India. The establishment of BRAOU marked the beginning of a new and prestigious era in the history of distance higher education in India.
