There is a general thinking that the benefits of industrial development have not spread uniformly across the length and breath of the country. It is in this context that industrialisation and territorial development has acquired a significant topic of discussion. It has also influenced various policies decisions of the Government.

Shankar Jha is faculty member in the Department of Business Economics at the Faculty of Commerce, The M.S.University of Baroda. He has more than fifteen years of teaching experience. He has obtained his Ph.D. in 2013. He is a visiting faculty to various Professional Institutes. He has also authored number of articles and presented papers in national and international conference.
