Information Retrieval System: A Linguistic Study

This book discusses the theories, principles and techniques of linguistics and their applications to information retrieval system. It focuses the attention of users, professionals and scholars of Library Science to linguistic concept, techniques, their relevance and usefulness for information retrieval system. The study begins with description and assessment of the relationship and correspondence between linguistic analysis and information retrieval.
