Krishan Khullar, born in 1992 in one of the most cultural cities of united India, the city of Lahore, known as the cultural window of the east, hails from a small town Bajwara of District Hoshiarpur, the land of Mahatama Hans Raj. He started writing at a very tender age, but his creative pieces remained dormant till his graduation from Delhi University as a Hinduite. By the time he found himself writing in three languages namely Hindi, Urdu and English. At present he has dedicated himself for creation and production of good literacy works and translation of world literature into Hindi languages for the Indian readers. He has already translated & published world poetry from America, Australia, Bulgaria, Czech, England, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungry, Italy, Korea, Turkey, USSR, Yugoslavia and short stories from Greece and Turkey. He has translated Gita into Hindi verse. He is the recipient of Pieo Gold medal and 1300 years Bulgarian Friendship medal from Bulgaria. He is the editor of Art & Poetry Today, an English quarterly of international repute and three Hindi quarterlies viz. Yuva Kavi, Alavita and Samkaleen Kala Aur Kavita. As an editor he is bringing to limelight hidden talents in the realm of poetry and art from all parts of the world promoting the cause of literary magazines from the world in general and India in Particular.
