Dr. Arbind Kumar was born on 25th January 1962 in a respectable Rajput Zamindar family of village Phulwaria Baheri of Gaya district of Bihar (India). His father, Sri Jitendra Narain Singh and mother Smt. Shankuntala Singh gave a deep impact of their liberal and struggleful life over Dr. Kumar. Dr. Kumar got his early education in St. Aloysius High School, Ranchi and later continued his higher study in Magadh University from where he got his degrees in B.A. (Hons.) History, M.A. (History) and Ph.D. Dr. Kumar has attended a good number of work shop, seminars and symposia on history and has contributed his learned research papers to historical journals. He is associated with many academical centers and organizations concerned with History.
