The present publication provides an entomology student almost complete knowledge of the reproduction and development of the important and common aspects of insects required at their level and give them an insight with the hope that their curiosity and imagination might get awakened to know more and more about them.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR B D Patnaik
Dr. B.D. Patnaik (b. 1956) has over twenty years of teaching experience. He did his schooling from St. Xavier High School, Patna. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in zoology from the University of Calcutta. Dr. Patnaik has written various articles and papers and also presented them at national level seminars. He obtained his doctorate degree by conducting research on Leptocorisa varicornis. Presently, he is guiding research scholars and also engaged in doing extensive research on various parasites.
