This book discusses the place of intellectual capital in the business world. Today, it is central to any business operation as seen by managers who view investments as assets in a balance sheet rather than expenses in the income statement. This book, written by Goran Roos and Sharath Jutur, places intellectual capital at the heart of managing firms and covers issues such as measurement and management and disclosure of intangible resources. This book also contains a decade-old research, besides the theory and requirements of measurement, the problems of disclosing information outside the company without undue exposure of strategic intent, etc. These research papers are not just comprehensive but contain both theory and practice so that the reader can get a holistic picture of the subject.
