This text book on Internal Combustion Engines – Including Gas Tubines has been revised completely with addition of many more chapters namely :  heat rejection and cooling, lubrication and friction, carburetors and carburetion, fuel injection systems, ignition system, characteristic performance of I.C. engines, alternative fuel for I.C. engines,
exhaust gas analysis and air pollution control, and gas turbines. The striking feature of this textbook is that all the graphical representation of the test results by way of graphs and maps, to explain or analyse and synthesize the performance, are not only qualitative but quantitative, enabling the reader to read off a value from them as typical one and use in a practical manner. SI units have been consistently used throughout the textbook and many typical worked out problems have been added.
