Tourism has become a global economic activities and perceived as an industry. It has been used as an instrument for socio-economic growth, foreign exchange earnings, employment generation, opening up of new areas, promoting nation integration and developing better understanding. Previously this sector was completely neglected, but it has gained due recognition in the 20th century and brought revolution in the economic field. However, each and every country of the world is trying to promote this sector with maximum potential, so that country can get rid of from poverty, unemployment, inequality and regional imbalances. Therefore, present millennium will be embraced by three Ts i.e. Technology, Telecommunication and Tourism. Besides showing the positive gains in socio-economic field it has also posed some socio-cultural, economic and ecological problems. But despite these it has emerged as a major human activities which gives pleasure to millions of people. Therefore, tourism is both blessing and blight. It is more pleasurable rather than hurting.
